Digital Dental Scanner

Digital Dentistry has radically changed the dental practice. It uses Intra oral digital scanner device which captures  direct optical impressions.

It is equipment produces 3d images of  patient’s oral cavity without using the conventional impression trays. It is a hassel free device used efficiently in smile designing procedures and full mouth rehabilitation procedure.

Intraoral scanner based on the 3d capturing technology which converts 2 D images into 3D images and shows it digitally, Intra Oral digital scanners are used by clinicians for impression making for prepared crowns, coping cuttings, for implant prosthesis, for orthodontic work.

Laser

Laser dentistry is one of the most specialized service performed in dental practice. Lasers can be used in variety of dental procedures. As it produces very little heat it has a gentle effect on tissue. Soft tissue lasers  are used in surgical gum procedures like  gingivectomies, frenectomies, gingival contouring, smile designing, removing soft tissue overgrowths.

It can also be used in treatment of apthous ulcers. During impressions it can be used to  isolate margins of the crown.

Lasers are used for desensitizing  sensitive roots. Laser depigmentation is a cosmetic procedure in which superficial dark layer of gums can be removed. Lasers results in excellent hemostasis, hence post surgery bleeding is very less. We have in house laser tooth bleaching facility available. In this the  activation of bleaching agent is done using laser. Laser teeth bleaching is safe and gentle on your teeth and gums. There is little to no sensitivity with laser teeth whitening.

OPG

An OPG (Orthopantomagram) is a panoramic scanning dental X-ray of the upper and lower jaw. We have in house ortho Panto Gram ie OPG machine. A single OPG can be done to diagnose multiple issues like teeth impaction, fractures, dislocation, infection, tumours, sinuses. It has low patient radiation dose.

It can be conveniently used in  patients. with limited mouth opening. Recommended in patients with severe gag during placement of RVG sensor. It is useful in planning  orthodontic treatment ,implant surgeries and other full mouth procedures.
